My animal caretaking qualifications began in 2010 as a Veterinary Technician at a Veterinary Hospital. In 2017, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Texas A&M University. After graduation I was awarded internships working with the Wildlife Center of Texas and Houston Zoo. From my Houston Zoo internship, I earned a full time position ensuring the health, care, comfort, training, and safety of more than 80 exotic and domestic animals as a zookeeper. In 2019, I was employed as a zookeeper for Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. From my exotic training experience, I branched out to domestic dog training the same year where I have received prestigious qualifications. These qualifications include Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and American Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR Certified. As a certified professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, I follow their values of integrity, education, excellence, scientific principles, and transparency.
