I am a CBCC-KA certified dog trainer and behaviour consultant. I also hold the Fear Free Elite certification. Most of my instruction is offered at the Ottawa Humane Society (Ontario, Canada) or online. I help owners and their dogs with resource guarding, handling sensitivities and husbandry behaviours, in addition to often-requested help with city living and basic obedience.
I graduated with honours from the Academy for Dog Trainers with a certificate in Training and Counselling (CTC). Before training professionally, I was a hockey coach at the University of Ottawa and am a professor in Algonquin College’s Veterinary Assistant/Technician program teaching ethology.
I compete in agility and harness dog sports. My all-time favourite sport is skijoring which I do with racing dogs Digby, Karma and Journey.
