I started working as a dog trainer 6 years ago, as I wanted to keep as many dogs as possible out of the shelter: so many of them are sent there for issues that could be addressed with some compassionate, focused, and positive training. Each animal is different, has different needs, motivations, and learning styles, and I’ll work with you and your dog to give you both the specific guidance you need. Whether you’re thinking about getting an animal, have a new pet, or already own a pet with behavioral problems, I am here to help.
I have worked with shelter organizations, volunteered with the Behavior team for the ASPCA, and these experiences have taught me so much and made me a better trainer.
