Janine Pierce is the owner and founder of the renowned J9's K9s Dog Training. Since starting the company in 1993, her reward based training techniques have helped thousands of dogs and their human companions enjoy better relationships without the use of intimidation or harsh punishments. She's a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and the Pet Professional Guild, and an AKC Approved Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Evaluator. An accomplished competitor in performance dog sports, Janine is passionate in her belief that dog training is fun! J9's K9s holds group training classes ranging from a Puppy Head Start Program (for puppies as young as 8 weeks old) through Advanced Obedience, Agility and Specialty Classes. Private lessons are also available in clients' homes, in the J9's K9s Indoor Training Facility in Canoga Park and anywhere on Zoom.
