Candid Canines is a positive reinforcement based dog training business. We focus on relationship building, mutual respect and games to help teach our canine companions how to be our best friends. We offer private one on one in home lessons, group classes, board and train, pre-puppy/pre-adoption consultation, puppy/adoption selection and temperament testing, puppy raising support and right home selection for breeders and shelters.

Trainer Claire has multiple certifications including CPDT-KA, AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, Canine First Aid and CPR, and Suzanne Clothiers CARAT temperament testing.

Alongside a passion for dog training, Trainer Claire worked in the veterinary field, and was a 'barn rat' growing up. Her long time obsession with animals has lead to her great wealth of knowledge and experience, which in turn she shares with her clients and their dogs.

Trainer Claire also works with Equines, using positive reinforcement to forge strong, healthy, safe relationships. She focuses on consensual care and confidence building.
