Dogwood Therapy Services is a human occupational therapy clinic that works with people of all ages who have physical, cognitive or psychiatric disabilities. Our clinic has a special interest in providing Animal Assisted Therapy. Dogwood is also a dog training facility that trains Service dogs, Emotional Support Dogs (home support), dogs for Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT), Animal Assisted Education (AAE), and volunteer visiting teams for Animal Assisted Activities (AAA). In addition, Dogwood offers owner-self training classes. Melissa has 17 years experience for dog training. We offer workshops, consulting, and post-professional rotations for healthcare, human service and education providers and for dog trainers interested in this area of training.
